Lesley my sister I’ve commissioned this rhyme
Because you’ve been through difficult times

Difficult times but we are together
And we always will be forever and ever

 Remember the good times get over the bad
Think of the positive please don’t be sad

Think of our childhood days of great fun
Days spent with our wonderful Mum

Days with our sister without a care
Sometimes I wish we could be back there

Sisters are doing it for themselves, you know the song,
Sing it out loud sing it out strong

Remember your achievements, shout them out loud
Hold your head high and always be proud

Becoming a teacher Oh Lar de Dar
Posh one of the family you think you are

We know it’s true we know you’re posh
Because each day you get a Salford wash

So Lesley thank you for being my rock
Sisterly love that no one can knock

Thank you for being there all of the time
I hope I have helped out by sending this rhyme

Like all our sisters I really do care
And again like them all I’ll always be there

So let’s stand together and get over our strife
Today’s the first day of the rest of our lives
